Two cabins share the two-acre clearing. The caretaker's cabin is 200 feet away and up the hill.
There are abundant walking trails with all kinds of wildlife. Your cabin has a private deck off the back with a year-round gas fire pit and indoor and outdoor cooking options.
A wood fire pit is available if Cal Fire allows fire while you're here. We accept allow pet owners to bring their pets. This is Wildland. No Fence! Emergency 10x10 kennel is available.

Experience a full day of forest bathing along with our sauna to open all your pours and senses to the beneficial shower provided by the rainforest just 20 miles from the coast and 100 miles north of San Francisco, CA. Our certified guides help you gain the most from your visit using all five senses. We believe that a steam sauna and a full day of forest immersion allow for even more terpenes to enter the body faster. Please bring a bathing suit or shorts. A change of clothes is always best.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest and experience its therapeutic benefits. We offer a personalized service. Select from two dozen guided ShinrinYoku methods. Each of us learns and enjoys the experience in different ways. We even have some designed for the engineer's enjoyment as in no meditation required.
Digital detox and quiet reflection are practiced here.
The property is heavily treed with Redwoods, Pines, Douglas Firs, Wester Larch, Cypress, Madrone, Live Oak, and Tan Oak, to name just a few.

Escape to this private cabin and find tranquility in a traditional Japanese setting. The 100% off-grid cabin comes with no TV! It has a hot shower, 5G, kitchen dishes along with pots and pans, small refrigerator.
Bring all your food and drink and hygiene essentials, condiments. coffee special kitchen pans if you wish. This is not a hotel, you are still camping.

We will meet you at KarKar's Deli.
Fixing your own food may mean you will need a few things.
Karkar makes the best food to order. Sandwiches and pasta salads are here are simply the best north of San Francisco, along with beer and wine, and next door the convenience store will have anything you may have forgotten. From here we will lead you the best way back to Forest Haven. Ensuring our guests always know the best way in to avoid bad dirt road conditions. Google Map does not monitor dirt roads, we do.
Nature Walks
Explore the local, public, but little-known Local Forest Trails and discover the wonders of the natural world. If you stay for the 4-day package, the nearby trails are nearby to explore and practice what you learned. Two hours under the tree canopy at each new trail is recommended for lasting health benefits up to 30 days. That is right, 2 hours just 4 times a month for quantifiable health improvement.
